Our vision  is to create a warm and welcoming space for all to come and explore their bodies through the practice of yoga. Together we bring varied experience from around the world to offer soulful, intentional yoga that supports your journey both on and off the mat. Read our bios below.

What We Offer

Open-level Vinyasa on Wednesdays, 8-9am at The Center, Noordhoek.

Rooted in traditional teachings, you can expect to sweat and stretch as we deepen our relationship with our bodies and delve into the stillness within. Modifications will be offered making our classes accessible, fun and as challenging as you choose. We pride ourselves in creating an inclusive and sacred environment for all levels, ages and backgrounds to explore, play and simply be. We keep our classes intimate, with no more than 20 students, to maintain a supportive and connected environment for your practise.

If you’re brand new to yoga we offer 1:1 or private group beginner classes before you join the weekly class. Reach out to schedule.

What We Believe

Yoga, rooted in ancient wisdom, is a journey back to connection; to self, to others, and to nature. It’s not about touching your toes or perfecting a handstand; it’s about deepening your relationship with your body, quieting your mind, and awakening to the bliss of the present moment. Our goal is to support your well-being by creating a space where movement, mindfulness and community come together.

We honour the origins and cultural heritage of yoga, as well as the unique experiences and voices within our community.

We believe in the healing power of community, and invite you to stay for tea after class in the beautiful garden – a space to relax, connect, and share in community.

Our priority is your practise. If finances are a concern, reach out about our concession rates. Yoga is for everyone, and we’re here to welcome you just as you are.

Cailin O'Brien

200hr Certified Vinyasa Teacher
50hr Fluidus Yoga Teacher Training
50hr Breathwork Course

At a young age I fell in love with the philosophy of Yoga. Whilst traveling in Vietnam I was introduced to the physical practice of yoga by Indian teacher and master Kamalesh Za. It was here that I fostered a deep connection to mind, body and breath and began to understand through personal experience the benefits of the mind, body, spirit connection.

For me, yoga is more than a practice but my entire way of life.

After completing my trainings in South Africa, I embarked on a journey to India to further deepen my understanding of the spiritual teachings.

In 2023 I completed a training in Fluidus which has reshaped my entire practice. I teach a slow, strong flow, encouraging self exploration and intuitive movement within the structure of my classes.

Eva Ross

200hr Certified Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Teacher
50hr Kids Yoga Teacher
20hr Trauma-informed Yoga Facilitator

What began as a physical pursuit has evolved into a lifelong journey of deeper awareness of body, mind, and spirit, shaping my life far beyond the mat. Over more than a decade, I have immersed myself in yoga through various teacher trainings, workshops, self-study, and volunteering with EarthChild Project.

I completed my 200-hour Ashtanga and Vinyasa training in India in 2018, a children’s yoga teacher training in 2019, and trauma-informed yoga facilitator training in 2023. Inspired by the principles of Viniyoga - a holistic and therapeutic approach that adapts the practice to individual needs - my teaching prioritises healing and self-discovery.

My classes integrate practices that build strength, mobility, and flexibility with the wisdom of yoga philosophy, creating a nurturing space where yoga becomes a tool for restoring connection within yourself and with the world around you. Rooted in compassion and acceptance, my approach supports your body’s unique needs while guiding you toward self-healing and tapping into the body’s innate wisdom.

Kerstin De Beer

200hr Certified Forrest Yoga Teacher
200hr Certified Vinyasa Yoga Teacher
50hr Anatomy-Informed Yoga Teacher

My yoga journey began in 2009 during my training as a professional dancer, where I first encountered the practice as part of a dance class.

Since then, yoga has profoundly shaped my understanding of the body and mind, becoming an essential part of my life. I have trained with globally acclaimed teachers, including Ana Forrest, Megan Currie, and Jim Harrington, further enriching my practice and teaching style.

With a teaching career spanning Cape Town and London, I have worked with individuals of all levels and abilities, bringing a deep appreciation for movement and accessibility to my classes. My teaching blends contemporary dance-inspired sequencing with a slow, deliberate flow, emphasizing the "how" of integrated movement and mindful alignment.

My classes are welcoming to all, offering a unique balance of challenge, playfulness, and intention - leaving you inspired and connected.

Sophie Sandham

200hr Certified Vinyasa Yoga Teacher

I began practising yoga in 2013 - drawn to it by my love for movement through dance and a curiosity to find greater meaning and connection in life. That first class humbled me so deeply that I became fascinated by the physical challenge and eager to delve into the philosophical teachings.

After years of exploration and learning both on and off the mat I completed my 200 hour Teacher Training with The Shala in London in 2021. I'm grateful to all my teachers over the years, in particular the globally acclaimed Ashtanga teacher Gingi Lee, and the wise and meticulous Kath Roberts whose background in Iyengar had a profound effect on my practise.

My approach to teaching blends strength and mobility with an opportunity for stillness to connect to ourselves. Yoga has been a companion through minor but chronic injuries throughout my adult life which have deepened my understanding and respect for the body, and so I place a strong focus on correct alignment and safe exploration into the subtleties of a pose that deepen our own relationship with our bodies.

Above all else, yoga has become a tool-kit for me to slow down my nervous system and come into the present moment - the first step to happiness and healing.

"Yoga is not about self-improvement, it’s about self-acceptance." – Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa
